    Tax Time Information

Your 2025–26 Private Health Insurance Tax Statement will be sent directly to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

This means your private health insurance information will usually be pre-filled when you lodge your tax return through myTax or with a registered tax agent.

It can take a few days for the ATO to update this information, so don't worry if it doesn't appear straight away. There’s nothing you need to do.

    • If you'd like a copy for your records, you can download your tax statement from your inbox in the see-u App or Online Member Services from 4 July 2026.
    • You can also download last year's tax statement through the app or Online Member Services if you need it.

    Rebate Income Threshold Changes

From 1 July 2026, the Australian Government is increasing the income thresholds used to determine eligibility for the private health insurance rebate.

If you claim the rebate, it's worth checking which rebate tier applies to you and whether your details need updating. To do this go to Membership, then Government rebate in the app or Online Member Services.

Not sure what this means for you? No stress. The see-u crew is here to help.

  • We’ve updated how you log in 🔐

    3 Feb 2026, 11:00PM(UTC)

To improve security and privacy, we’ve updated the way you need to log in for members – which means you’ll need to follow the prompts to re-register (if you haven’t already). Plus, for the first time, members aged 15 and over on family and couple policies can now set up their own login.

We’ve upgraded the way members access the see-u Health app and Online Member Services to improve security, privacy, and access.

Members now log in using their email address instead of their membership number. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to register for the first time or re-register to access your account.

    What this means for you:

    • Register or re-register using the email address linked to your policy
    • Members aged 15 and over can have their own login
    • Main policy holders can still view and manage everyone on the policy, unless another member has chosen to keep their details private
    • Members aged 15 and over can manage their own details and claims securely and separately

If you’re the main policy holder and share a policy, you can add unique email addresses for other members once you’re logged in.

Sharing an email address with someone on your policy?

No stress. There’s a simple workaround so you both can have your separate log in. You can do this yourself or give us a buzz and we can sort it for you.
