Limits – explained without the jargon

Annual limit
This is the total amount you can claim for certain services or items each calendar year.

Combined limit
Some services share one pool of benefits. A combined limit means your claims for a group of services all come from the same total.

Per person limit
Each person on your cover can claim up to the ‘per person’ limit, except where a policy limit applies and has already been reached by the other members on the policy.

Per policy limit
This is the total amount all members on your cover can claim together for certain services.
